Australian student XIONG RENJIE and Japanese student KOBAYASHI HIKARI have won the title of ‘China Hand’ in the Chinese Cultural Contest held by ICES on June 2nd. as the “China Hand”. 

This event was launched to encourage the international students to understand more Chinese history and culture while learning the language. The contest involved Chinese history, literature, Chinese medicine, geography, folklore, sports, and Chinese cuisine, etc. Contestants made full preparations and performed brilliantly.

The contest further stimulated the international students’ strong interest in Chinese culture. We believe that more and more students will become genuine "China hands" in the near future.
