Room Facilities

Bedding	bedsheet, mattress, quilt, quilt cover, pillowcase, pillow (one each item)	School is not responsible for replacement and cleaning. Please leave them in room when checking out.
Telephone	two sets: one for free use (interphone); the other needing 201 card (with international phone function)	If you use interphone to call sb. in the Apt., just dial the room No., and dial 0 for the reception. If you want to call outside Apt., you should use 201 card. For the international calls, you should also buy IP card.
Network	internet jack	Application for use to Rom 123. Monthly fees is RMB 45 for 180 hours, and if above 180 hours, pay extra RMB 0.5 per hour.

Notes:

1. Deposit:
RMB 400 deposit for room key and facilities. The deposits and 1-month rent (for self-support students) being paid, the key and remote controllers will be provided.

2. Rent:
If you pay rent monthly, please make payment to Rom 123 from the first to the third day each month. If you pay the whole semester rent in advance, please make the payment during the first week of new semester. And if you keep the room in summer or winter holidays, please make payment in advance, or you should move out of the Apartment.

3. Cancellation:
When the schooling is over, or you want to leave midway, you have to check out. You should return deposit receipt, room key, remote controllers and mailbox key to Rom 123. If no damage for the room and facilities, the deposit will be returned to you. If damaged by man-made, deposit won’t be sent back and you have to pay for damages.

4. Check:
On 28th and 29th each month, School staff will come to your room to check the power consumption, sanitation and safety condition. If power consumption is above 200kw in a single room, 250kw in a double room, overrun cost fee should be paid to Mr. Huang before 5th next month.


Public Facilities

Electric hot  water boiler	One in each public kitchens on 2 and 3 floors in Apt. (1) and each floor in Apt. (2)	Please carefully use it according to the instructions to avoid scald. The boiled water is for drinking, not for washing.
Washing machine	Two in public kitchens on each floor.	You could get a washing card from Mr. Huang. Deposit for the card is RMB 10, using once costs RMB 2. Money could be added to the card repeatedly.
Electromagnetic kitchen range	Two or three in public kitchens on each floor.	Please operate according to the instruction. Don't leave when using in case of overflowing and electro-leakage. Please turn off the power after use.
Public Bathroom	One on each floor of Apt. (1)	Available for 24 hours, please keep bathroom clean and saving on water.
Open area for clothes drying	Outside the west end of 3 floor in Apt. (1) and on the west yard of Apt. (2)	Use clothespin to avoid loss when drying in the air.
Cycling parking lot	On the west yard of Apt. (2)	Please register your bicycles & motorcycles with the related department in time and park them in the designated lot.
Fitness zone	On the west yard of Apt. (1)	Open from 6: 30a .m. to 22:00p.m.
Computer Room	On the 2 floor of Apt (2)	Language student Computer Room

Off Campus Residence
24 hours after moving in your apartment, you must go to the local police station to apply for the Registration Form for Temporary Residence (RFTR).
Pay particular attention to the safety use of water, electricity and gas, and always keep in touch with ICES, your family or friends in case of emergency.
