In the afternoon of March the 26th, the 14 members of the delegation of Hue University led by its president Ruan Wen Quan visited our University. Deng Jia Gang, the vice president of our University, had a friendly talk with president Ruan and signed a framework agreement on TCM education and scientific researches.

Mr. Deng introduced the general development situation of out University and the Vietnam students’ performances here. Mr. Deng highlighted the outstanding achievements on the field of TCM researches, and the advanced equipments and therapies on cancer treatments and kidney transplant of our university. He believed Vietnam is rich of natural herbal resources, wide ranging bilateral cooperation on natural medicines could be established by both sides, and he wished it can be started soon.

The Vietnam delegation was very interested at vice president Deng Jia Gang’s introduction. President Ruan Wen Quan was optimal to future cooperation and the development prospect of TCM in Vietnam, he said Hue University had the intention of jointly establish a TCM research center, and hoped to frequent communications and exchanges.

At the end of the meeting, a framework agreement on TCM education and scientific research was signed as the foundation for further cooperation.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the Medicine Exhibition Center and the campus of our University with full interests accompanied by some of the Vietnam students.
